AXE is SCANTECH's global 3D scanner — a stationary, tripod-mounted system rather than a handheld unit — built around a global photogrammetry system for metrology-grade accuracy on mid-to-large parts without needing a separate photogrammetry rig.
AXE-B11 uses 22 crossed blue laser lines at up to 1,300,000 measurements/second across a 550 × 600mm field; AXE-B17 steps up to 34 crossed lines and 2,000,000 measurements/second across an 860 × 600mm field, SCANTECH's widest single-scan field in this class. Both switch between high-speed and single-line deep-hole scanning modes, hold 0.020mm resolution, and reach up to 0.020mm + 0.012mm/m volumetric accuracy with the built-in photogrammetry system engaged (0.020mm + 0.035mm/m standalone on B11, +0.030mm/m on B17).
Output over USB 3.0 in .stl/.ply/.obj/.igs/.wrl/.xyz/.dae/.fbx/.ma/.asc, -10°C to 40°C. Bundled with ScanViewer inspection software.
